After crossing the Santiago Bridge, in Padrón, we stand before the Costanilla Del Carmen, which leads us to the convent that bears its same name, the Convento Del Carmen.

This neo classical building was built in the early eighteenth century on stone. The first inhabitants were the Barefoot Carmelite Order, and then after their alienation, the premises passed onto the hands of the Saint Dominic order, which is still present till this day.

Due to its privileged location, its atrium which is open to the public offers a perfect view of a fairly large portion of the Lands of Iria´s territory.
